Newly Updated Harbour front walk

The seaside town has plenty of things to do in Weymouth, recently having undergone a multi-million pound harbour front refurbishment which gave more pedestrian space for those wishing to promenade or sit and people watch. There are lots of pubs and restaurants open on the front so plenty to do, plus it gets the last of the summer sun so grab a place to sit outside and enjoy!

Nothe Fort

No list of Weymouth attractions could be complete without this beauty. A Royal Commission Fort built in the 1860s, Weymouth was a major player in Naval defence at the time. In fact, it was a major part of World War 2 efforts, and had both local and American defences here. Not only is there a dazzling view from the ramparts, but there’s twisting underground passages beckoning you to explore, too. Learn more about Weymouth, as well as Britain during World War 2, and have a great day out doing it.

Drop a coin in the wishing well, sip a coffee at the two lovely coffee shops, or play a round at the 18-hole putting green. It’s a delightful day’s decompression and enjoyment.
